About Chris

Chris Jerram came to Omaha in 1988 to attend Creighton University School of Law. It was there that he met his wife, Jennifer Wolfe Jerram. They have been married for 17 years. They have two children, Katie and Shannon. Chris’ belief that a commitment to families, our community and work to strengthen our city make him uniquely qualified to serve us on the City Council.

Chris and his family are active members of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Chris has served as a school board member for Holy Cross and has been an active Knights of Columbus member since 2002, having served as the Grand Knight from 2004-2006.

Chris has served as the president of the Morton Meadows Neighborhood Association and also served for many years on the Omaha Zoning Board of Appeals, including serving as its chairman.

Hobbies and Interests
Making and maintaining healthy life style activities is essential and serves as an example to others. In his free time Chris enjoys running throughout the district. He has completed five full marathons (26.2 miles) and two half marathons (13.1 miles). He also spends time hunting, bicycling and playing pick-up games of basketball with friends and neighbors at the gym. Chris has coached his girls soccer teams in 2001 and 2004 and was the basketball coach from 2005 - 2007.
